Maximize your performance without worry of eyestrain with Bolle’s precision engineered Traverse Sunglasses. They feature super-strong, non-slip Thermogrip rubber temples and nosepads to securely and comfortably hug your face even during intense, sweaty activities. They can also quickly transform into snow goggles with optional face gasket and Traverse strap.

These glasses offer the Bolle Modulator lens option, which darken or lighten as conditions change. For instance, the Modulator Rose lens has a pink color during cloud cover, and it darkens to a grayer rose color as sunlight increases. The embedded Active Cell Technology works at the molecular level, quickly responding to changing light conditions to give you the best eye protection and performance. Unlike other variable light lenses, Bolle photochromic technology is embedded into the lens under a highly protective hardcoat to prevent wear.

Some models of the Bolle Traverse offer interchangeable lenses to ensure optimized flexibility depending on the conditions you’re facing.

These glasses come with the following lens color options:

TNS Gun: Neutral density gray lens with metallic silver mirror. Provides true color definition. Ideal for everyday, all-purpose wear. Permits 13 percent visible light transmission and 34 percent infrared light transmission.

Modulator Rose: A pink colored lens during cloud cover, ideal for low to medium light conditions. Darkens to a dark gray as sunlight increases, making it perfect for all day wear. Permits 26 percent to 12 percent of visible light transmission, depending on the conditions.

TNS: Neutral density gray lens provides true color definition. Ideal for all-purpose use. Permits 12 percent of visible light transmission.

Lemon: High contrast yellow lens. Ideal for very low light conditions. Permits 84 percent visible light transmission.

Tech Talk
Visible Light Transmission: Percentage of light that passes through the lens, depending upon the tint and density of each lens. Darker lenses have a lowerlight transmission percentage as less light is allowed to pass through the lenses, and lighter lenses have a higher transmission percentage as more light passes through.

Polarization: This optically precise filter embedded in the lens eliminate most glare and reflected light.
