The Giro Shiv is the Ultimate park and pipe helmet. It’s light weight, low profile and features an interior subliner. With the most fit and goggle set up options in a snow helmet, it’s up to you to dial it in. The interior subliner allows you to customize your pads or pull them out completely for the ultimate in rider tuned fit. A soft Velcro free fabric is laminated to the EPS foam on the inside of the helmet to make the fit more comfortable if you want to remove the padding to accommodate a beanie or goggle strap. In-mold construction fuses the helmet’s outer shell with impact-absorbing EPS liner. The two materials are fused together, and one is reinforced by the other. This ‘exoskeleton’ allows Giro to engineer helmets that are lighter, more durable and better ventilated. Giro’s Fit Kit system allows you to dial in your fit for maximum comfort. When you get your helmet there will be a pad kit of varying thicknesses that will allow you to mix and match pads to customize the fit of your helmet.
